Oyama Dojo-kai Densho Karate
Watanabe-juku
So-Shihan Watanabe wasn’t just created Oyama Karate. He also invented training methods, which were so efficient and to be proved by his students skills who are Tadashi Nakamura (Seido-juku in NY), Shigeru and Yasuhiko Oyama (U.S.Oyama Karate in NY), Shigeo Kato ( Sensei of Shokei Matsui and Masato,K-1 Champion), and etc.
Like I said, he trained so many famous students who now owns his dojo all over the world, and they also trained other many champions too. He is “the living legend” and “the history of Kyokushin Karate”.

His student, Joko Ninomiya, the representative of “Enshin” Karate and holds a open tournament “Sabaki Challenge” in Denver.
He died in 1995, at age of 50 years old.
“Ashihara Karate” has a unique defensive method “Sabaki”, which was believed to be found by Ashihara. Actually So-Shihan Watanabe taught Ashihara a concept of defensive skills as farewell gift before Ashihara had to go to Shikoku, to open up another “Kyokushin” branch.
He was called “10th degree of street fight” in the comic, but the truth is Sensei Eiji Yasuda (Azure Dragon) was “10th degree of street fight”.
