Sensei Ichiro Minamoto was the one who started “full-contact sparing” to Oyama Dojo. (Oyama dojo already started “UFC”s fight style which wore no pads and no illegal contacts)  Of course, they didn’t hits so hard to death, but enough damages.

 

  So-Shihan Watanabe told about Sensei Minamoto,

 “He might controlled all his attacks in his way, but he always accurately aimed “hitting” points. Therefor it was awfully painful like a torture. ”
