He was called “Tenth degree of street fights”, because of his episodes of street fights, what he notified his opponents before attacking where, when and how.

 

  He overcame others by power, speed, skills, everything.  His kumite was very furious and stinging just like “roaring of Dragon”, or “howling thunder”.

 

　So-Shihan Watanabe described,

  “You can never imagine how strong Senpai Yasuda’s attacks were.  It could destroy your defenses and blocks.  Even you could stop his first attack, his next attacks would follow like thunders.  There was no way to keep standing in front of him with normal defensive skills.  That was why I had to find special and fearless defense against him.  I finally could defend his all attacks, but I still had a long way to fight him back.”

He passed away in 2013, at age of 77.
